Organised by Inv.ACC [Accessibility Research], the Forum, in which more than 30 specialists participated, had two specific purposes that we believe to be of interest: to promote research in a field that is still little explored and to achieve a multi-scale character. To this end, the following round tables were held:
-
- Accessibility and digitisation of buildings
- Accessibility and disruptive technologies
- Accessibility and senior housing: safety and comfort
- Accessibility and urban regeneration in vulnerable areas
- Accessibility and emerging urban models
The event closed with a workshop presenting research and innovation work developed in several universities and was well attended by a large number of participants, although we regret to say that the online format clearly triumphed.
The programme with the topics developed and the specialists participating in each table, as well as the recording of the 6 tables are available on the CSIC-IETcc website.
Inv.ACC, is a working group to promote Universal Accessibility in research and in the training of Architecture and Building students, of which our researchers Alba Ramírez and Patxi Lamíquiz are members, as well as members of the Torroja Institute (CSIC-IETcc) and leading professionals in this field.
