a few words about me…
Robotics, Software for robotics, Maker, etc.
I am a university professor of Robotics and Computer Science at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. I`ve been doing robotics for a long time now, and I’m passionate about the AI and its relation with the Human Intelligence. You know, all the antropological consecuences of the AI research.
Since more than ten years I use to include a quotation from Steve Jobs
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
I can say I love my job. I like teaching, and I love my students to learn the technologies I can explain to them. Many times they are the ones who years later have become teachers of those subjects. That is the satisfaction of the teacher.
On this website I want to put some of the fruits of my work. It is part of my work experience and also some of the handbooks that I have been generating over the years. Of course I also include the references to the projects and publications that as an academic I am forced to publish! 😉
