At ETSIDI-UPM we want to find solutions in which Industrial Design becomes a tool for social transformation together with Engineering processes. Our EELISA community, Industrial Design for Human, precisely aims to do this by working in a transdisciplinary way with STEAM vocations.
Hence our mission is: Empower human beings and improve the quality of life through industrial design, innovation, creativity, and visionary thinking, generating efficient products and services to meet daily needs.
Our values: We want to address the social, environmental, and economic challenges facing humanity in the future.
All this is thanks to the Sustainable Development Goals, mediation, and Engineering as sources of knowledge transmission and citizen collaboration.
