From November 7 to 18, at ETSIDI

The Higher Technical School of Engineering and Industrial Design (ETSIDI) offers various guided tours and workshops on the occasion of the celebration of the XXII Week of Science and Innovation. Of which, the workshops in collaboration with EELISA are presented below:

Solar energy workshop.

The researchers Rubén Nuñez, Rebeca Herrero and Pablo Quesada will show us how a photovoltaic system is calculated and will help us build a pocket one.

The workshop will take place on Thursday, November 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

nanocellulose workshop
Full capacity

Workshop for children and adults on the manufacture of a polymer from nanocellulose. For this, a live workshop will be held.

This activity, organized by Cristina Moreno, Piera Maresca, Rosa Ocaña and Cristina Alía, is part of the EELISA IndustrialDesign4Human community.

The workshop will be held on Friday, November 11 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

CREATE your robot with legs “Zowi”

Workshop aimed at younger audiences to build a pocket-sized walking robot with legs. These robots, or Zowis, are 3D printed with biodegradable filament.
For primary school students and other children.
Speakers/Coordinators of the activity: Marcelo Luna Diaz, Robotics, Automatics and Electronics Club.
It will be held on Monday 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Workshop oriented to create a clock by recycling partitions used during the COVID19 pandemic.
For primary school students and other children.
