The main objective is to generate easy-to-use technologies to improve mental and physical health of those citizens affected by a chronic disease or syndromes such as autism, ADH, dementia or permanent disabilities, among others.

The project aims to study and analyses novel production procedures and systems for food production in countries and/or regions with high poverty rate.

EMPOWER PEOPLE IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS
The objective of the project relies on a dynamic set of activities focused on facilitating the living conditions in the Lavapies/Emabajadores district, in the neighborhoods of ETSIDI-UPM. It includes close interaction with social stakeholders, local council representatives, and associations to identify potential interventions.

EDUCATION AND DESIGN IN RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND USE
To promote a reflection in society in order to raise awareness and warn about the abuse of plastic materials and the short useful life of many products that nevertheless survive as waste on the planet for a long time. Train designers with a sustainable conscience.

DESIGN BASED ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY TECHNOLOGIES
Future engineers will have to face multiple challenges derived from the SDGs, such as the fight against climate change or the development of sustainable products. In this context, the renewable energies and in particular, the photovoltaic energy have a great technological potential that cannot be underestimated.
