Jaime Bellver  is a researcher at the Speech Technology and Machine Learning Group (THAU) having recently completed both a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Business in 2022 and a Master’s degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence in 2023, both from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. As a member of the research community, Jaime joined the THAU Group to pursue a Ph.D. and embark on a research career. Their primary research focus centers on machine learning, with a particular emphasis on equipping large language models with audio capabilities and enhancing their toxic detection abilities. Jaime is actively working on advancing our understanding of how machine learning models can detect and mitigate toxic content and how to improve the actual model capabilities through sound analysis. With a passion for innovative research, Jaime is poised to make significant contributions to the THAU Group’s ongoing projects and the broader scientific community.
