Drive & Data project
Dive and Data is a project of Young Innovator and Climate Kic and is developed by ITD-UPM. The purpose of this project is to promote a scientific approach in schools that allows them to know about the environmental quality of their surroundings. From a critical and solid observation to generate tools to address environmental challenges that challenge each of us at our local scale.
It is a citizen science project in the classroom. Students make their own sensors and take their own data. This knowledge is done in collaboration with agents from the neighbourhood.
Dive and Data has been developed in two schools in the districts of Villaverde and Usera. These centres are located in particularly vulnerable neighbourhoods in the city of Madrid (Spain).
