Abstract

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is an efficient space geodetic method for precise spatial coordinates determination and time series generation. Time series analysis is very important in in order to find tendencies and make better predictions. In this study we, analyze time series of coordinates ENU (East, North, Up) to determine its performance of GNSS network in the Ecuador using Hurst coefficient estimation. This network is composed by 30 stations. Hurst analysis was done using two approximations. One is Rescaled Range (R/S) technic, and the second is Wavelet transformation. Times series of ENU coordinates were attained from the GNSS stations diary solutions to calculate of Hurst coefficient. Hurst coefficient estimated using both methods were higher than 0.5 which is an indication that the time series indicate persistent properties, that is, a positive correlation. Read more
