The STRAST group performs research and development activities in the following fields:

  • Machine learning techniques for safety systems
  • Cybersecurity in software systems for the connected industry

Our work is aimed at a variety of application areas, such as aerospace systems, railway systems and banking systems, among others.

The group is led by Professor Alejandro Alonso. It is  is integrated into the Information Processing and Telecommunications Center (IPTC) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM).
