Los sistemas agrovoltaicos son un nuevo paradigma tanto para la producción fotovoltaica como en la producción agraria. Estos sistemas aparecen ante el gran desarrollo de esta producción energética y las grandes incertidumbres que surgen sobre ello. Los sistemas agrovoltaicos se basan en una sinergia entre dos sistemas productivos, en la que ambos necesitan de un redimensionamiento para ser compatibles, pero en la que, posiblemente, el resultado final sea más que la suma de las partes.
El objetivo de este I Simposio Internacional de Producción Agrovoltaica es crear un punto de encuentro de todos los interesados en estos sistemas de producción, de tal forma, que se puedan generar sinergias en un futuro. En este sentido, junto a los grupos científicos que desarrollan la parte de generación del conocimiento, se espera contar con las empresas que se centran en la parte comercial de estos nuevos sistemas de producción. El evento será el 16 y 17 de octubre de 2025 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB).

Agrovoltaic systems constitute an emerging paradigm in both photovoltaic energy generation and agricultural production. These systems have arisen in response to the rapid growth of this energy sector and the significant uncertainties surrounding it. Agrovoltaic systems are based on a synergy between two productive systems, each requiring spatial and operational reconfiguration to ensure compatibility, but where, potentially, the final outcome may be greater than the sum of its parts.
The objective of this I International Symposium on Agrovoltaic Production is to establish a meeting point for all stakeholders involved in these production systems, with the aim of fostering future synergies. In this context, alongside scientific research groups dedicated to knowledge generation, the participation of companies focusing on the commercial development of these emerging production systems is also anticipated. The event will be held on October 16 and 17, 2025, at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB).
