STEM Fashion

This project is an activity of the π-ensa Museum of Mathematics Classroom Workshop, part of the Mathematical Thinking Research Group at UPM, in collaboration with the SSERIES community of the EELISA Alliance of European Universities. It has the collaboration of ACT (Textile Creation Association) and UDIT (University of Design and Technology). It promotes collaboration between scientific disciplines (mathematics) and creative fields based on design and craftsmanship (fashion and sewing).

The aim is to strengthen relationships between fashion artists, mathematicians, and society, encouraging them to actively participate or receive the proposal as part of a shared process of research and innovation.

Its purpose is to develop a collaborative effort between fashion and mathematics as an inspiring source, with all participants involved in designing a collection of novel proposals with a scientific foundation.
