Photocatalysis National Congress 2024

The congress is the meeting point for professionals, companies and entities related with this technology. It takes place on 25th to 26th of November in Madrid. One of the magistral conference would be in charge of Javier Rey, entitled "Indoors quality of air". In addition, Esther Moreno, Elena Cerro and Mar Barbero participate on it.

Science Week

In Friday, 8th October 2024, we celebrated the Science Week. We would like to give the thanks to all the families that showed interest and participated in the activity.

How to achieve bioclimatic and sustainable schools?

On 17th of October of 2024, Mar Barbero gave a conference invited by FAMPA Alhambra with the colaboration of CODAPA and Junta de Andalucía, in which the importance of the school buildings as well as their surrounding was aborded together with the air quality and the vulnerability of children. Presentation of results to Management Teams of the participating schools

Along October 2024, the preliminary results of the study will be presented to the Educational Community of the schools participating in the project. Thanks to the families for participating!

Participation in FICAL

Lime4Health participated in FICAL (Iberian Lime Forum) with a conference entitled "La pintura de cal en el patrimonio construido" from 26th till 27th of September of 2024 in Santiago de Compostela, presented by Mar Barbero. Further information in: https://fical.org/vii-forum-iberico-de-la-cal-2

Participation in BIAUS

Lime4Health participated in BIAUS (Bienal of Research in Architecture) with a poster in the research line " 7: environmental conditioning for the wellness and energy efficiency". In this case, Elena Cuerda from the Universidad de Alcalá, went in representation of the team. The congress was celebrated between 17th and 20th of September 2024 at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura from University of Seville, which 263 researches and mor than 1000 researchers and 36 universities worldwide participated. Presentation of the project in the seminar "Trends in construction" CIFP Someso

Presentation of the project in the course "Introduction to Aeropalynology"

Lime4Health was presented in the course "Introduction to Aeropalynology" organized by the Institute of Earth Systems celebrated in 5th of September of 2024 in the University of Malta by Estefanía Sánchez. Participation in "MedPaynoS 2024"

Lime4Health participated, from 17th to 19th of July of 2024 in the MedPaynos 2024 (Mediterranean Palynology Symposium 2024) celebrated in Salamanca, with a communication entitled "Evaluating the effectiveness of photocatalytic paints in reducing indoor airborne pollen concentrations in schools: LIME4HEALTH project" presented by Estefanía Sánchez and Sheila Galindo Ortiz. Presentation of results to Management Teams of the participating schools

Along June and July of 2024, some preliminary results of the study were presented to the Management Teams of the schools participated in the project. Thanks to the schools for participating!

Participation in "I Congress in Education towards sustainability"

Lime4Health participated, from 31st of May till 1th June of 2024, in the discussion panel "Educative centers in sustainable cities" with a communication entitled "what factors defined a sustainable educative center in a sustainable environment?" by Mar Barbero. Participation in "Healthy city and near neighbourhood" CEIP Tomás Bretón

Lime4Health has participated in the analysis and proposals developed by the professors F.Lamíquiz and E.Higueras, to implement a plan for healthy city and near neighbourhood around the Tomás Bretón primary school. Congratulations!

Application of paints begin!

Taking advantage of the holiday period, on Tuesday 26th of December, we had started the application of photocatalytic paints at schools. We will be working on it for the next two weeks.
