The six pilot projects selected under the call ERASMUS-EDU-2022-POL-EXP had the pleasure of participating in the meeting organized by the European Commission in Brussels on October 24, 2023.
The physical meeting brought together representatives of the six pilot projects on the Joint European Degree Label and the European legal status for alliances. With the purpose of discussing the work done up to this point, the meeting was structured around interactive debates and brainstorming sessions among project representatives and the European Commission.
The session on the Joint European Degree Label, attended by the coordinator (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and two partners (Université de Technologie de Troyes, Paris Sciences et Lettres) of JEDI, focused on the creation and implementation of the Joint European Degree Label in higher education institutions. Topics such as quality assurance, added value, and the co-creation of European criteria for the awarding process of the Joint European Degree Label formed the basis of the work that the projects have been carrying out for the past few months.
The meeting opens the door to new insights and co-creation opportunities for the projects in the context of long-term European educational purposes.
