About the experience:

There is always improvement to be had, no matter what the project, and my SOC internship is no different. It would have been a very different experience to be thinking about the social and civic aspects of the internship while I was doing it.

On the one hand, it could have boosted my experience to a different, more personal and connected level. But on the other hand, I think that having had some time to abstract myself from the timeframe of the internship and look back on how things went, it makes me appreciate my experience that much more, and gives it a whole other light.

Having the opportunity to participate in the IN4SOC project was an enriching experience, mostly in an introspective manner. It allowed me to look into myself and reflect on my views, mindset and perspectives while I was producing the research paper. It is very rewarding to be able to reflect on one’s work and know that you doing something good for yourself and for your environment.
