EELISA ACTIVITY
“Design thinking – Technology for elderly people”
Within the framework of the EELISA alliance of universities, the event “Design thinking – Technology for elderly people” is being organized, in which three communities and three universities participate (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid UPM, Universitatea Politehnica din București UPB, Istanbul Technical University ITU ).
The event consists of a series of workshops related to Service-Learning and Design Thinking and a subsequent Hackathon to address the challenge of technologies as support for the elderly.
PLACE AND DATE:
The event will be held in Bucharest, at the facilities of the Universitatea Politehnica din București on March 16 and 17, 2023.

In general terms, the first day will be dedicated to the workshop on Design Thinking with presentations by experts from the three universities. During the second day, three talks will be given on the needs of the elderly and how technologies can help, followed by the Hackathon.
