The Leap Motion controller is in some way the same concept that made so succesful Kinect controller. It is a depth sensor for short ranges, but with millimetric precision, and it is based on interferometry technology. Although these kind of products are already in the market, they are quite expensive. However, the Leap Motion is going to cost around 100$ (this is precisely the analogy with the Kinect story).
