SIGORD

Spatial planning, environmental adjustment and planning of future activities of aggregate’s mining.

This project has emerged as part of the XIII-E Network project of the CYTED, Spatial Planning, and Mineral Resources. It aims to develop a new software application which includes systems, tools, methodologies and spatial planning processes in areas where industrial aggregates operate, or where is geological potential for its development. This application will be used by both the industry and the authorities responsible for the environmental and mineral planning to ensure and contribute to the inclusion of aggregates extraction activities and associated activities, policies and spatial planning plans to ensure the supplies for large cities, to its own growth and the enhance of quality of life of its inhabitants within a sustainable development.
