Architect by the UPM. Master in Environment and bioclimatic architecture and master in building techniques and systems. At the present time is Secretary of the “Sustainability in Industry and Construction” research group. She is currently developing her doctoral thesis in the PhD Program “Technological Innovation in Building” at the UPM.
 
Her research focuses on the area of Environment and Sustainable Construction, specifically in the research line “Management, recovery and valorization of Waste from construction and demolition (RCD). The most relevant research has been published in journals of international prestige as Construction and Building MaterialsThe Baltic Journal of Road and Bridge Engineering and Waste Management, presented at national and international conferences. In addition, she is member of the Editorial Board of the journal of Mining, Reclamation and Environment and collaborates as an evaluator of articles in “INFORMES de la construcción” from the Eduardo Torroja’s science institute of construction of CSIC.
 
Furthermore she has participated in several research projects obtained in calls of competitive bidding, distinguishing the national project CLEAM (Clean construction, efficient and friendly with the environment” sponsored by the Industrial and Technological Development Center (CDTI), within the CENIT program and the project GtoG; from Production to Recycling, a Circular Economy for the European Gypsum Industry with the Demolition and Recycling Industry” from the European Research Program Life+ (LIFE11 ENV/BE/001039 – GTOG).
