Submissions

We welcome original manuscripts contributing to the topics of the conference. All papers have to be written in English and follow the standards and format provided by the conference.

All submissions will be double blind and peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to the conference, contributions, and readability.

The submission of contributions for the Conference will have two phases:

  • The first phase consists of the submission of a blinded file that will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. You must follow the approved “Blinded” template (máx. 6 pages). Deadline: April 21st
  • The second phase, for the accepted contributions (notification date May 13th), implies to produce the final camera-ready paper with the appropriate template.  Deadline: May 27th

Publications

All accepted and camera ready papers will be published in a volume of the Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies series (Springer). In addition, the titles, affiliations and short abstracts of those papers will be compiled in a Conference Book of Abstracts.

A selection of the best full papers will be proposed for further development and potential publication in the following journals:

  • International Journal of Production Management and Engineering (IJPME), ESCI.
  • Central European Journal of Operations Research (CEJOR), Scopus and JCR.
  • Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management (JIEM).
  • Dirección y Organización (DyO), Scopus and ESCI.

Authors will be asked on/to rank their preferences for publishing their further developed papers in each journal (authors might also select «no publication» among their ranked preferences). Papers will then be prioritized according to reviewer reports. The authors of the best papers will have the possibility of publishing articles in these journals provided their editorial committee approve them, after a second review process.

Code of Conduct and responsibilities

Authors must comply with all the provisions of the Code of Conduct to publish in LNDECT Springer. To avoid delays in the publication of this book, the Editors reserve the right not to publish articles that do not comply with these guidelines.

The authors are responsible for complying with their requirements (length, publication format, related documentation – compliance with Ethics Committee rules, fees as well as the follow-up of their articles once they have been incorporated into the review processes in such journals.
