The Library’s mission is to facilitate access and dissemination of information resources and to collaborate in knowledge creation processes in order to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
It is essential that the university community knows the tools and information resources that the Library makes available to them, which is why we strive to design a training plan with different means to ensure that users make the most of the available resources.
This training can be received in the following ways:
- FACE TO FACE TRAINING
Individual: Any question, doubt, query that you have can be sent to us by going to the loan desk, by phone or by email (biblioteca.campus.sur@upm.es) and the library staff will assist you and guide you in your request.
Collective: At the beginning of the school year we offer a series of training courses, on different days and at different times. We will take a guided tour of our facilities, and we will also teach you how to use our Ingenio metasearch engine and the features it adds to request books, renew them, etc.
We are also open to organizing general or specialized training groups at the request of members of the university community, throughout the school year.
- ON LINE TRAINING
The University Library offers certain online courses, in addition to making informative video tutorials available to users.
