Art & Science is a STEAM project between Science and Art whose main objective is to bring any student closer to the world of science and scientific research using art as a universal means of communication.
The project is structured in four phases:
- the formative phase (from 15 November to 22 December 2022), with talks, workshops, visits to museums and laboratories and various activities both online and in person. In this phase, participants will be accompanied by university professors and students.
- the creative phase (January and February 2023): creation of an artistic proposal on one of the scientific themes addressed. They will be sponsored at all times by university students who will guide and advise them. The proposal will be sent according to the rules set out in the “Competition” section before 20 March.
- the exhibition, (March 2023): all the proposals created will be displayed in one of the exhibitions in the Aula Taller Museo de las Matemáticas π-ensa of the ETS de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos of the UPM.

The winning team will be announced on 22 April at the Aula Taller Museo de las Matemáticas π-ensa and on this website. This team will exhibit their work at the 4th edition of the Art & Science project organised by the National Institute of Nuclear Physics in Naples.
