Prof. Miguel Hernando

PhD in Robotics and professor at UPM

Project Coordinator and main researcher. He received the M.S. in Electrical Engineering degree in 1997 and  a Ph.D.  in Robotics  and Computer Vision in 2003 at UPM. He is also researcher at the Centre for Automation & Robotics  (CAR UPM-CSIC). and Founder of the startup Biicode whose aim is to give to C/C++ a dependency Manager (currently Conan.io). His research interests include motion path planning, service robots, and microrobotics.

His main research activities are related to robotics and smart environments (ambient intelligence and ambient assisted living). In 2016 he has won the Spanish prize ABC Solidario together with Prof. Miguel Hernando
