Javier Mazorra Aguiar

Javier Mazorra Aguiar is a research fellow at the Innovation and Technology for Development at the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid (itdUPM). Javier is a PhD doctor in Chemical  Engineering from UPM, has a Master’s Degree  in Technology for Human Development from UPM and a degree in Chemical Engineering from ULPGC. During the last six years, Javier has been a research fellow at itdUPM where he is participating in more than 20 projects with special focus on energy access  and climate change in low- and middle-income countries. Nowadays, Javier is the Coordinator of Shire Alliance Project (www.alianzashire.org), a multi-stakeholder partnership for energy access in refugee camps with the participation of the Spanish Aid (AECID) and three Spanish leading companies on energy and lighting (Iberdrola, Acciona.org and Signify). Email: javier.mazorra@upm.es
