Francisco Albertuz graduated in Industrial Electronic and Automatics Engineering at Universidade de Vigo (UVigo), Spain, in 2022 with the best academic record of that year. He received the Award for Academic Excellence from Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia and the End-of-Degree Award from UVigo. Then, he moved to Madrid to study for a Master’s degree in Electronic Systems Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), which he finished in 2023 with honors in his Master’s Thesis. That same year, he started his Ph.D. at UPM at the Integrated Systems Laboratory (LSI) research group of the Department of Electronic Engineering (DIE), focusing on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) implementations on field-programable gate array (FPGA).
