OFFER DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student for an experimental project focused on the synthesis of catalysts devoted to the production of green-hydrogen by electrolysis, photoelectrolysis, and magnetoelectrolysis.
Requirements: Spanish nationality, UE citizen or non-UE with legal residence in Spain.
Skills/Qualifications
-Master degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or material science or a related field related to the research topic with an excellent grade.
-Good theoretical and experimental knowledge of the current field of green-hydrogen production.
-Experience with collaborative projects and the ability to work in a team.
-Excellent command of English.
Specific Requirements
-Strong background with demonstrated longstanding experience in the synthesis of materials by solid-state and soft chemistry approach, as well as very good experience in characterization techniques including diffraction, spectroscopy, and/or electron microscopy.
-In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of electrochemistry.
-You will be able to write scientific manuscripts, and present results at conferences.
-Desirable: co-supervise bachelor’s and master’s students.
