Associated Partners

Associated partners were selected considering: Experience working in international context and recruiting engineers; multidisciplinarity; capability to mobilize the target groups in several countries (they will reinforce the potential impact of the project and also create better conditions for its future sustainability); diversity (public and private); geographical distribution and capacity to disseminate results. Multiplicity of organisations will bring different perspectives, working methodologies and expertise within the consortium.


TIME ASSOCIATION

 

 

 

T.I.M.E. stands for “Top Industrial Managers for Europe”. It is an association of leading Engineering Schools & Faculties and Technical Universities from all over the world. This is a strategic associated partner for further promotion and dissemination of the TA VIE program activities. It has nearly 60 members, most of them from European countries, but also from Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, Russia and Turkey. TA VIE project will take advantage of the T.I.M.E. network to promote and implement the tools developed, together with the potential interested partners. Moreover, the T.I.M.E. Association is linked with the TIME Association alumni that gathers more than 3,000 alumni all over the world.


FRENCH EMBASSY IN MADRID

Innovative experience building French-German, French-Italian and French-Spanish Universities. Able to provide political support and to steer the higher education and scientific cooperation in line with the EU policies and programmes. The embassy is also able to provide financial support. Thanks to its experience, the French embassy in Madrid, is able to help partners from an academic background to develop strategic partnerships in line with the policies defined above, international quality indicators, networks with companies, double degrees and joint projects in cooperation with Spanish ministries and to organize job fairs through contact with alumni.

In infrastructure and industry solutions the company plays a pioneering role. nThey recruit engineers on different fields all over the world.

They recruit more than 1.000 engineers on different fields every year all over the world.


AENA

Aena SME, S.A. is a state-owned company that manages general interest airports and heliports in Spain. Through its subsidiary company Aena Internacional it also participates in the management of 16 airports abroad. Aena is the world’s number one airport operator in terms of passenger traffic. Over 686 million passengers passed through Spanish airports in the last three years. The Company manages 46 airports and 2 heliports in Spain and participates directly and indirectly in the management of a further 16 airports in Europe and America, including London’s Luton airport, with a 51% stake. They recruit engineers every year mainly from the aeronautics field.


THS, Tekniska Högskolans Studentkår

Is one of Sweden’s oldest student unions and has 112 years of experience in working for students’ rights and high quality education at KTH. THS Business and industry activities offer skill development and networking, and boast one of the biggest business and industry fairs in the student world – THS Armada. THS will add to the project the voice and insights of a major stakeholder in the project, the students/future engineers.


SYNERGIZER

Is a private consultancy firm located in Gothenburg and run by Alena Ipanova. Alena has a background in psychology, training methodology and communication, and has worked with intercultural training and strategic communication for companies, non-profit organisations and government bodies in several countries in Europe and Asia. Synergizer will add to the project the perspective and experience of a professional educator of global competence.


CONFINDUSTRIA TRENTO

Founded in 1945, it currently represents a system of 800 member companies with a total of 35.000 employees. Confindustria will help to identify the needs of the corporate world and will act as a facilitator between the university and the SMEs that will be involved in TA VIE, through the active participation of HR managers and directors in interviews and focus groups.
