Dear Ignacio,

I'm finding your line of investigative questioning very interersting, especially with regards to your book title:

"Rural Communities in the Global Economy: Beyond The Classical Rural Economy Paradigms"

The way I see it and in a nutshell (…if you don't mind me attempting to wrap up…) would be:

"How can the global economy both humbly & sincerely engage our neighbours in rural communities in every country? And is it them who are missing out, or is it us? Do they need our help, or do we need theirs?"

Bridging the gap takes humility and good will that can survive the trials of misunderstanding that will come along, in order to achieve the goal working gladly side-by-side ot the greater good.

Entrepreneurship, in other words, exchanging the dependency of (capital backed) employment (working to eat), for investing in fruitful project-based, hopeful & faithful labour (working to feed) is something those in rural locations all ready thrive at.

They make what they do have work for them – no matter how seemingly little – against all the odds and best of all without any of our loans, subsidies or mortgages…the poor of this world have something far greater, which they would (should) never trade – faith.

If we would all lower our minds, we could learn so much from them.

Ignacio, as you can see I have a few opnions – like anyone else – but what we are in need of is 'ACTION'.

Here is an article I wrote about poultry farming project planning.

It has the rural entrepreneur in mind.

Let me know your thoughts:

"Poultry Farming Project: 12 Steps To Writing Your Report & Proposal (PDF)"

You might also find some of our other articles interesting, especially those focused on certain rural geographic markets like Kerala, India – which can be found by searching our blog.

I don't know what you'll think, but I would be honoured to hear back from you.

Thank you for reading and sharing,

[P.S. May I ask, where are you based? And what gets you so into rural entrepreneurship? I'd like to know more!]
